As a Registered Nurse, her chosen specialty has been pediatrics.  Becky, currently chooses to be an at home mother with her growing family, of Emily, Ester, Elise, and Jake.

Growing up the youngest of eight children and becoming a aunt a 6 years old, makes Debbie very experienced at large family life. 

There is no question that family comes first in the Broderick household.  Debbie selected to have homebirth with her first baby, and on October 17th 2005, Samuel safely joined the family. 

A trained Dental Assistant, Debbie (now at home), enjoys decorating, gardening, and playing guitar with her husband James.

Kari published her first book in 3rd grade, and has been writing ever since! She earned her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. She taught at "The University for Children" a private school in Utah, and has taught at numerous schools and libraries throughout the United States. Her love of storytelling and writing has kept audiences in stitches as she shares her unique and creative ways of encouraging and empowering children through their writing.
